Job Title: Primary Care Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary: The Primary Care Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner are a licensed healthcare professional responsible for delivering comprehensive primary care services to patients across the lifespan. This role involves conducting patient assessments, diagnosing, and treating medical conditions, collaborating with healthcare teams, and promoting preventive care.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and other healthcare professionals.
  • Prescribe medications, therapies, and other interventions as appropriate.
  • Educate patients on treatment plans and self-care.
  • Manage and monitor patients with chronic medical conditions, coordinating care with specialists as needed.
  • Provide preventive healthcare services, including vaccinations, health screenings, and health education.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Document patient encounters, assessments, and interventions in electronic health records (EHR).

Qualifications:

  • Completion of a Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner program from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience required.
  • Current state PA/NP licensure and national certification as a Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner.
  • Previous experience in primary care or a related field is often preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based healthcare environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $80,920.00 – $124,303.00 per year
