Location: Fremont, CA and Oakland, CA Mission Pain Treatment CenterSchedule: Part-Time (Tuesdays & Wednesdays & Fridays)
Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and clinically skilled Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join our growing interventional pain practice and ambulatory surgery center in Fremont, CA. This role offers a unique blend of outpatient clinical care and procedural/surgical experience, with the opportunity to assist in advanced interventional cases including spinal cord stimulator trials and implants.
This is an excellent opportunity for a PA looking to expand procedural skills and gain hands-on experience in a high-efficiency ASC setting.
Key Responsibilities
Clinic (Tuesdays & Wednesdays):
- Evaluate and manage patients with acute and chronic pain conditions
- Perform history & physical exams and develop treatment plans
- Order and interpret diagnostic studies
- Provide patient education and follow-up care
- Document encounters in EMR in a timely manner
Operating Room / Procedures:
- Assist physician in interventional pain procedures, including:
- Spinal cord stimulator trials and permanent implants
- Epidural steroid injections
- Radiofrequency ablations
- Other minimally invasive spine procedures
- Support pre-op and post-op patient care
- Maintain sterile technique and assist with procedural setup
Qualifications
- Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C)
- Active California license (or eligible)
- DEA license (or willingness to obtain)
- Prior experience in pain management, orthopedics, spine, or surgery preferred
- Strong procedural interest (training can be provided for the right candidate)
- Excellent communication and patient care skills

Pay: $170,000.00 – $190,000.00 per year
