Full-time Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner *MUST have Current IV Experience* In-Person in Purchase, New York
AIM Center for Personalized Medicine is a patient-centered destination practice where our medical team works like detectives, piecing together clues until we solve the mystery. Many of our patients arrive after years of unanswered questions, living with complex conditions including Lyme and vector-borne diseases, co-infections, mold illness, autoimmune disease, and Mast Cell Activation Syndrome.
We are looking for a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to work directly alongside Practice Founder Dr. Tania Dempsey, supporting her patient care and our infusion therapy program. This is an entry- to mid-level position, and new graduates with current IV experience are encouraged to apply. It’s a rare opportunity to learn true integrative medicine from the inside, combining functional and conventional approaches to get to the root cause of illness.
What you’ll do
- Assist Dr. Dempsey with the care of her patients
- Assist with patient protocols, including lab orders, prescriptions, refills and supplement plans as designated by the doctor
- Obtain and assess vital signs
- Audit lab and imaging results and flag findings for Dr. Dempsey’s review
- Follow up with patients to keep them accountable and on track with their treatment plans
- Respond to patient portal messages and phone calls in collaboration with Dr. Dempsey and our clinical team
- Collaborate closely with Clinical Nurse Coordinator and Medical Assistants
- Assist with our peptide program
- Oversee infusion therapy, monitoring for and responding to any adverse reactions
- Screen patients for IV therapy and Therapeutic Plasma Exchange (TPE), including review of history, labs, and current medications
- Educate patients on what to expect and obtain informed consent before treatment
- Write IV and TPE orders and communicate treatment plans with our nursing team

What you’ll bring
- A current NY PA or NP license
- Current IV experience (a must)
- An interest in learning integrative medicine
- Experience in a private medical practice is a plus
- An investigative mindset. You enjoy the challenge of complicated, evidence-based cases and learning from Dr. Dempsey’s approach to them.
- Strong organization and follow-through, with the ability to keep many patients’ care moving at once
- A commitment to staying current on advancements in both functional and conventional medicine
Compensation and schedule
Pay range: $56 to $62 per hour
Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
