About the role
Rahal Hair Transplant is hiring a Physician Assistant for our new New York location. You’ll work alongside Dr. Rahal in a surgical hair restoration setting, performing FUE extractions, graft placement, patient consultations, and pre/post-operative care.
This is a hands-on surgical role. You’ll be actively performing procedures, not just assisting.
What you’ll do
- Perform FUE graft extraction under physician supervision
- Assist with graft placement and surgical procedures
- Conduct pre-operative patient evaluations and consultations
- Administer local anesthesia
- Prescribe post-operative medications and manage follow-up care
- Document procedures and maintain EMR records
- Educate patients on hair restoration options, expected outcomes, and aftercare
What we’re looking for
- Current PA-C certification (NCCPA) and active New York state license
- Collaborative agreement with supervising physician (required in NY for surgical procedures)
- Hair transplant or cosmetic surgery experience strongly preferred
- Surgical skills including comfort with fine motor procedures
- BLS certification required. ACLS preferred.
- DEA registration preferred
- Strong patient communication skills
- Ability to work in a focused, detail-oriented surgical environment for extended hours
