Full Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Physician Assistant (PA) to join our growing pain management practice.
Position: Part-time
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and manage patients with acute and chronic pain conditions
- Perform history and physical examinations
- Develop treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physician
- Provide patient education regarding medications, procedures, and pain management strategies
- Assist with follow-up visits and medication management
- Document patient encounters accurately in EMR
- Coordinate patient care, referrals, imaging, and lab review
Requirements:
- Current PA license (Nevada license preferred or eligible)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in pain management, orthopedics, PM&R, neurology, or primary care preferred, but not required
- Experience with EMR documentation preferred
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Ability to travel between three clinic locations
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with interventional pain management
- Familiarity with controlled substance management and opioid prescribing guidelines
- Knowledge of musculoskeletal and spine-related conditions
- Spanish language skills are a plus
