Medical Assistant needed for a contract position in Quincy, MA
Hours: Monday through Friday 7:30am to 4pm or 9:30am to 6pm
Department: Internal Medicine and Family Medicine
Length: potential for temp to perm
Job Info:
- Prepare and set up exam rooms.
- Support minor procedures and ensure proper instrument sterilization.
- Schedule follow up appointments and diagnostic tests.
- Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR system.
- Manage clinical inventory and restock supplies.
- Provide administrative support, including patient call backs and departmental coordination.
Requirements:
- A Medical Assistant certificate from an accredited school required.
- Minimum of two years working as a Medical Assistant.
- COVID-19 vaccination (at least one dose) required.
- Epic experience is a big plus.
