Job Title: Physical Therapist AssistantLocation: Arlington, MAShift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PMPay Rate: $65/hour
Job Summary:We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our healthcare team. The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients recover from injuries, improve mobility, and manage pain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Physical Therapist in implementing individualized treatment plans
- Guide patients through prescribed therapeutic exercises and activities
- Monitor patient progress and report updates to the supervising therapist
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records and documentation
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and home exercises
- Ensure a clean, safe, and organized treatment environment
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Active PTA license in the state of Massachusetts
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Prior clinical experience preferred but not required
