Full Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team for the next 6 to 12 months. Coverage is needed as soon as possible. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who is passionate about delivering quality healthcare and expanding their professional development.
The selected locum will be handling follow-up visits as well as acute care visits for our asthma and allergy patients. Experience in Allergy/Asthma, Primary Care, Pulmonology, or ER/Urgent Care is a plus, but not required.
Hours include 8 hour shifts for 3 to 4 days a week. Medical Malpractice insurance is included. Compensation is negotiable and dependent on experience.
Responsibilities:- Conduct patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and ordering diagnostic tests when applicable- Collaborate with physicians when needed to develop and implement treatment plans
Skills:- Must have at least 1 year experience as a Physician Assistant- Comfortable with use of electronic medical record systems- Knowledge of medical coding and billing procedures
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 32 per week
