POSITION SUMMARY

Mori, Bean and Brooks (MBB) is currently seeking a Physician Assistant (PA) to work in collaboration with a supervising physician. The candidate assists in providing procedure-based radiology services in both hospital and clinic-based practice setting, such services to include but not be limited to pre-procedure evaluation and preparation of patients undergoing interventional or other image guided radiologic procedures, evaluation of patients in consultation, inpatient hospital rounds, and long term patient follow-up. The candidate will represent the practice in interactions with hospital staff, referring clinicians, patients, and the health care community in general.

This position is Monday-Friday, providing weekday and weekend coverage call as set forth/determined by PA Utilization Committee or management. We offer a competitive base salary which can be enhanced by taking call in the hospital, generous PTO, full complement of benefits to include health insurance and 401k.

Mori, Bean and Brooks, a Radiology Partners practice, has been the leader in diagnostic imaging and image guided interventions in Jacksonville since its founding in 1968. We provide exclusive diagnostic and interventional radiology services to seven (7) hospitals in two hospital systems, including the Baptist-MD Anderson Cancer Center. Our affiliated business office provides practice support, billing and coding services, and PACS/RIS IT services.

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Board certified by the National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
  • Current license and certificate of authority to practice as a Physician Assistant in the State of Florida required
  • BLS and ACLS certification required
