Build More Than Crews — Build a Career in Arborcare Leadership
As our Assistant Arborcare Manager, you won’t simply oversee daily tasks—you’ll help lead a growing Arborcare division, support high-performing crews, and play a key role in delivering safe, efficient, and quality tree care throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth area.
We are looking for a hands-on arborcare professional who can support field operations, develop team members, and help drive the safety, productivity, and quality standards that define Prestonwood Landscape Services.
This role is designed for someone ready to take the next step in leadership and grow into a larger role within our Arborcare division.
What You’ll OwnLead Field Operations
- Support the Senior Arborcare Division Manager in leading multiple Arborcare crews across daily operations
- Help coordinate schedules, job assignments, and production priorities
- Ensure pruning, removals, and other tree care services are completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards
- Serve as a field leader who helps keep crews aligned, productive, and successful
Drive Safety & Quality
- Reinforce safe work practices, PPE compliance, and industry best practices
- Conduct daily crew check-ins and support a strong safety culture
- Monitor job quality, production efficiency, and crew performance
- Identify challenges in the field and provide recommendations to improve results
Support Team Development
- Coach, mentor, and encourage Arborcare crew members
- Help develop employees into stronger, more skilled professionals
- Reinforce Prestonwood’s expectations for professionalism, teamwork, and quality workmanship
- Lead by example in the field every day
Improve Production & Efficiency
- Monitor crew productivity and identify opportunities for improvement
- Track equipment usage, condition, and maintenance needs
- Support efficient job execution from start to completion
- Assist with reporting, work orders, scheduling, timesheets, and invoice management
Deliver Exceptional Client Results
- Help coordinate tree care services to meet client expectations
- Communicate job progress, updates, and completion details with internal teams
- Support accurate execution of projects and a seamless client experience
- Represent Prestonwood Landscape Services with professionalism in every interaction

What You Bring
- 3+ years of experience in tree care, arborcare operations, or landscape management
- Bilingual communication skills in English and Spanish
- Experience leading, mentoring, or supervising field crews
- Strong knowledge of tree care safety standards and best practices
- Ability to organize priorities, solve problems, and communicate effectively
- Valid Texas Driver’s License
- ISA Certified Arborist preferred, or willingness to obtain certification
- Strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and quality workmanship
