Irrigation Production Manager

Lead More Than Crews, Lead a High-Performing Irrigation Operation

As our Irrigation Production Manager, you’ll do more than oversee daily irrigation work—you’ll lead field operations, develop high-performing crews, and ensure every project is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

What You’ll Own

Lead Field Operations

  • Manage daily irrigation production across commercial landscape properties
  • Coordinate repairs, system upgrades, controller conversions, drainage installations, and enhancement projects
  • Plan schedules, assign crews, and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and on time
  • Keep projects moving while maintaining high production standards

Drive Safety & Quality

  • Promote a culture of safety through daily communication and accountability
  • Ensure all work meets company standards and industry best practices
  • Conduct job site inspections and monitor quality throughout project completion
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, production, and overall performance

Build Strong Teams

  • Lead, coach, and mentor irrigation crew members
  • Support hiring, onboarding, and ongoing employee development
  • Set clear expectations while fostering teamwork, accountability, and professionalism
  • Create an environment where employees can grow and succeed

Manage Production

  • Coordinate labor, equipment, and materials for maximum efficiency
  • Monitor budgets, production goals, and job progress
  • Ensure trucks, tools, and equipment are properly maintained and ready for daily operations
  • Complete work orders, production reports, and documentation for accurate billing and project tracking

Deliver Outstanding Service

  • Partner with clients, account managers, and operations teams to ensure successful project execution
  • Communicate project updates, timelines, and field conditions clearly and professionally
  • Resolve field challenges quickly while maintaining exceptional customer service
  • Represent Prestonwood Landscape Services with professionalism on every job site

What You Bring

  • 3+ years of commercial irrigation or landscape industry experience
  • Previous leadership or crew management experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of commercial irrigation systems, repairs, and troubleshooting
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
  • Licensed or Certified Irrigator is a plus
  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
  • Safety-focused with a commitment to quality workmanship
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
