You will be instrumental in managing a diverse patient population, providing preventive health services, and coordinating care across multiple specialties. Duties

  • Conduct thorough medical assessments, including physical examinations, sick visits and patient history reviews, to establish accurate diagnoses. Patient ages 18-65 years old.
  • Develop personalized care plans that incorporate preventive strategies, chronic disease management, and health education.
  • Utilize Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems with Elation EMR to document patient encounters accurately and efficiently.
  • Manage acute and chronic conditions across diverse areas or primary care.
  • Coordinate with specialists for referrals as needed.
  • Provide patient service through compassionate communication, health coaching, medication administration, and follow-up care planning.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain meticulous medical records to uphold privacy standards.
  • Assist in clinical research initiatives or quality improvement projects to advance practice standards.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
  • Current, unrestricted California Physician Assistant license
  • Current NCCPA board certification (PA-C)
  • At least 2 years of recent outpatient primary care, family medicine, or internal medicine experience
  • Proven experience in primary care settings with familiarity in outpatient environments.
  • Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems and experience with medical coding (CPT/ICD) is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and clinical evaluation techniques.
  • Experience with telehealth platforms is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills with a focus on kindness, empathy and patient-centered care;

Pay: $65.00 – $90.00 per hour
