Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Limited X-ray Technician to join our healthcare team. In this vital role, you will perform diagnostic radiology procedures with a focus on limited X-ray imaging, ensuring accurate results while adhering to safety protocols.
Duties
- Operate X-ray equipment to produce diagnostic images of specific body parts, following physician orders and safety standards
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and positioning them correctly to obtain optimal images
- Maintain strict aseptic techniques and infection control procedures during all imaging activities
- Ensure all imaging documentation complies with medical terminology standards and organizational policies
- Monitor equipment functionality regularly and report any malfunctions or safety concerns promptly
- Support diagnostic evaluation processes by providing high-quality images for accurate interpretation by radiologists or physicians
Requirements
- Certification as a Limited X-ray Technician or equivalent credential with valid licensing
- Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to diagnostic radiology
- Familiarity with aseptic techniques and infection control practices in medical imaging environments
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with healthcare teams and patients
Work Schedule
- 2 days availability (Weekdays only)
- From 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM (8 hour shift)
- Start date: Mid to late August
Pay: From $30.00 per hour
Experience:
- X-ray: 5 years (Required)
License/Certification:
- Limited X-ray Technician certification (Required)
