Osteopathic Physician (D.O.) – Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine
Nourish Osteo & Wellness – Albany & Oakland, California
Nourish Osteo & Wellness is a growing multidisciplinary clinic in the San Francisco Bay Area, serving individuals and families seeking care grounded in traditional osteopathic principles. We are currently seeking an Osteopathic Physician (D.O.) who primarily practices Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine (OMM) to join our team.
This role would begin as a maternity leave replacement with the intention of continuing long term for the right practitioner.
Founded by an Australian-trained osteopath, Nourish currently has four internationally trained practitioners and has built a strong reputation within the community. Our patients include individuals with chronic and complex presentations as well as pregnancy, postpartum, pediatric, and whole-family care.
This is a rare opportunity for a physician who desires to practice in a way that honors the philosophical roots of osteopathy while being supported by established systems, a collaborative team, and a strong administrative staff.
Who You Are
You are an Osteopathic Physician who:
- Is deeply passionate about the principles and philosophy of traditional Osteopathy
- Primarily wants to practices Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine using gentle and indirect approaches
- Values treating the whole person rather than focusing solely on symptoms
- Desires to incorporate osteopathic principles more fully into your career
- Values taking time with patients and building long-term therapeutic relationships
- Appreciates a collaborative, reflective, multidisciplinary team culture
- Is committed to ongoing professional and personal growth
- Wants to practice in a setting that supports depth, presence, and high-quality patient care
Additional postgraduate training in osteopathic fields such as Biodynamics, Cranial Osteopathy, pediatrics, women’s health, or related areas is highly valued.
The Role
