About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our growing gastroenterology practice. This position offers the opportunity to manage a diverse patient population in both general GI and liver disease, with strong support from experienced providers. We are open to training new graduates who demonstrate a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and manage patients with gastrointestinal and liver conditions in an outpatient setting
- Interpret laboratory, imaging, and endoscopic findings
- Develop and implement treatment plans
- Provide patient education and counseling
- Collaborate closely with physicians and clinical staff
- Participate in care coordination and follow-up
Qualifications
- Licensed as a PA or NP in California
- Fluent in Spanish (highly desirable)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently with appropriate supervision
- New graduates welcome; training provided
- Experience or interest in gastroenterology or hepatology preferred
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in GI, internal medicine, or primary care
