Full Job Description
Kelsey-Seybold’s Pain Management Center is actively recruiting a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to assist the clinic with the treatment of patients who suffer with pain. This is a position in a clinical setting, which would require one to be available between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
Position Highlights & Primary Responsibilities:
- Assisting the pain management physicians in clinic to achieve optimal efficiency in the practice of pain management
- Holding clinic and seeing patients for follow up visits, assisting these patients with the medical management of their disease
- Managing narcotics, narcotic agreements, opiate management administrative work and pre and post-operative procedural care
- Working with primary care practitioners and other specialties with the management of patients who suffer from pain, providing a team approach that facilitates and enhances the quality of care for such patients

Required Qualifications:
- Certification through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), or the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
- Current Licensure through the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners OR Licensed Physician Assistant by the Texas State Medical Board
- Driver’s License and access to reliable transportation
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) fluency
The salary range for this role is $113,000 to $173,500 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
