Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team, providing high-quality patient care across diverse clinical settings. In this role, you will collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive medical services. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and patient assessments, including vital signs, medical history intake, and symptom evaluation.
- Assist in diagnostic evaluation by ordering and interpreting laboratory tests, imaging studies, and other diagnostic procedures.
- Administer injections, medications, and treatments such as botulinum toxin therapy and wound suturing following aseptic techniques.
- Manage acute pain cases, perform triage in emergency or urgent care settings, and support ventilator management for critically ill patients.
- Document patient encounters accurately using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks; ensure HIPAA compliance for patient confidentiality.
- Participate in clinical research trials and contribute to data collection efforts to advance medical knowledge.
- Provide patient education on health coaching topics including chronic disease management, medication adherence, and preventive care strategies.
Experience
- Prior hospital experience in emergency medicine, ICU (Intensive Care Unit), or Level I/II trauma centers is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated proficiency with EMR systems such as Epic or Cerner; telehealth experience is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with procedures including suturing, phlebotomy, catheterization, airway management, spinal taps, and dialysis support.
- Critical care experience involving ventilator management and infectious disease care enhances your candidacy.
- Knowledge of CPT (Current Procedural Terminology) coding, ICD (International Classification of Diseases) coding (ICD-9/10), and medical terminology is essential.
- Experience working in outpatient clinics or hospital medicine settings; familiarity with post-acute care and hospice & palliative medicine is advantageous.

Pay: $111,505.25 – $140,000.00 per year
