Certified Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner – Family Practice Clinic
LifeCare Family Medicine of Bellevue
Family Practice Clinic is seeking a detail-oriented, patient friendly Certified Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner in our Bellevue, NE location. This position is full-time or part-time with competitive pay and benefit package.
** Work days are Monday thru Friday, and hours vary depending upon schedule/patient load.
** Must have graduated from a physician assistant or nurse practitioners program by Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA) or Nurse Practitioners (APRN) or its predecessors.
** Must be certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants or Nurse Practitioners. **Must have current Healthcare Provider CPR certification. Duties include:
- Assists physician in diagnosis of patients by:
- Obtaining complete medical history data from patients.
- Performing physical examinations to obtain physical data.
- Organizes and presents historical and physical data, together with evaluations and recommendations, to physician in such way as to permit him/her to visualize medical problem and determine appropriate diagnosis.
- Provides follow-up and health maintenance care to patients in accordance with protocols established by physician.
- Instructs and counsels patients with respect to such subjects as diagnostic testing results, weight loss and wellness, exercise, etc.
- Maintains complete and accurate records of contacts with patients whether in person or by telephone.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
