Description
American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with 2+ years of experience for a day shift travel assignment at a Level II Trauma Center and teaching hospital in Washington State.
Details
- Short-term acute care setting at a Level II Trauma and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center
- 629-bed teaching hospital
- Respiratory therapy unit with responsibilities spanning floor care, ER, code response, and rapid response
- Floating between units and all facilities within the state is required; refusal to float may result in assignment termination
- Day shift, 3×12-hour shifts (7:00–19:00)
- Every other weekend required
- Block scheduling required
- Patient ratios depend on acuity
- No on-call required
- Charting in Epic (experience required)
- No-fee parking available
Requirements
- Active RRT credential required
- Washington State RRT license required and must be in hand at time of consideration
- Minimum 2 years of RRT experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- BLS certification required
- At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include floor care, emergency room coverage, code response, and rapid response team participation
- First-time travelers will be considered for this position
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
- Minimal RTO is preferred; all RTO requests should be submitted upfront as post-offer changes may be denied
- Scrubs may be any color
