Full Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive and problem-focused histories and physical examinations to assess patient conditions.
- Interpret diagnostic imaging, including MRIs, and other diagnostic tests to inform patient care.
- Develop and implement treatment plans for orthopedic conditions within the scope of practice, addressing both surgical and non-surgical needs.
- Provide therapeutic interventions for specific orthopedic conditions as appropriate, utilizing evidence-based practices.
- Exercise clinical judgment to determine when consultation, referral, or evaluation by the supervising orthopedic surgeon or other healthcare professionals is necessary.
- Order, collect, and perform relevant laboratory and diagnostic studies, including routine laboratory tests, to support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Provide specialized care in sports medicine, including managing auto accident-related injuries (personal injury cases), administering joint injections, and delivering pre- and post-operative care.
- Offer non-operative orthopedic care, focusing on conservative management and rehabilitation to address a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant Program
Currently licensed, or eligible to be licensed in the state of Nevada. Board Certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C)
Compensation depends on experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $110,000.00 per year
Schedule: Monday to Friday 9:00AM – 5:00PM
Work Location: Multiple locations (Murray, most time will be spent in this location, Pleasant Grove, Orem and Saratoga Springs a possibility)
