Physician Assistant – Primary Care
Location: San Antonio, TX 78221,78258); Austin, TX 78749 (3 locations available)Duration: These roles begin with a six-month tenure, with the potential to Extend or a permanent position.Schedule – (Day shift) Full time 38-40 hours guaranteePay Rate: $75–$80 per hour
Position Overview
We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physician Assistant (PA) to join a growing healthcare team providing high-quality primary care services across multiple locations in Texas. This is an excellent opportunity for providers who are passionate about patient-centered care and thrive in a collaborative clinical environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages
- Conduct patient evaluations, assessments, and follow-up visits
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic health conditions
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians
- Order, interpret, and review diagnostic tests and lab results
- Educate patients on preventive care, treatment plans, and wellness strategies
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation in the EMR system
- Ensure compliance with all clinical and regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program
- National Board Certification as a Physician Assistant
- Active Texas State PA license required
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based healthcare setting
- Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies or related healthcare field
