Full Job Description
Build a Career Where Your Growth Is Taken Seriously
You did not become a Physical Therapist Assistant just to move patients through exercises, meet productivity numbers, and repeat the same routine every day.
You became a PTA to help people move better, regain their independence, and return to the activities that matter most to them, to get back to what they love!
At Surge Mobile Physical Therapy, you will work alongside clinicians who are committed to improving their skills, achieving meaningful patient outcomes, and becoming better both professionally and personally.
We are hiring a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant for our growing outpatient clinic in Port Isabel, Texas.
Whether you are a new graduate looking for training or an experienced PTA ready for greater responsibility and career advancement, you will have the support and opportunities needed to keep moving forward.
What You Will Receive
- Target annual compensation of $60,000
- Bonus opportunities based on performance
- Health insurance
- Paid time off
- Ongoing training and professional development
- Monthly clinical education and skills training
- Structured Mentorship
- Career advancement and leadership opportunities
- Wellness resources

Develop Skills That Move Your Career Forward
We believe clinical development will continue long after graduation.
Our clinical team meets monthly for hands-on education covering topics such as:
- Joint mobilization
- Neurodynamics
- Exercise progression and regression
- Blood flow restriction
- Therapeutic modalities
- Patient communication and education
- Clinical decision-making
You will also have access to ongoing continuing education, mindset development, professional networking, and career training throughout the year.
We do not want you to remain in the same position forever. With the right performance, attitude, and commitment, you can pursue leadership opportunities, help supervise and develop team members, and potentially grow into clinic-level responsibilities.
What Your Day Will Look Like
As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will collaborate closely with licensed Physical Therapists to carry out individualized plans of care and help patients achieve measurable improvements.
You will:
