Job Overview
Mobile Wound Care Nurse Practioner(NP) opportunity serving North Dallas or East Dallas territories.
Compensation:
$150 per visit(traditional wound care) and $250 per graft (per application). No cap on earnings.
Estimated annual earnings: $120K-$250K+ based on productivity and caseload.
This is a 1099 independent contractor position providing care directly to patients in homes, assisted living, and skilled nursing facilities.
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our mobile wound care team serving designated territories. This is a 1099 independent contractor position providing care directly to patients in homes, assisted living, and skilled nursing facilities.
Active professional liability(malpractice) insurance required ($1M/$3M coverage). Proof of coverage required prior to start.
Position will begin as patient volume is established in the assigned territory. This role is ideal for a provider seeking a flexible, part-time to full-time growth opportunity while building a patient caseload.
The NP will practice independently, performing wound assessments, treatment planning, and ongoing wound management, with the opportunity to expand into regenerative wound care (skin substitutes/grafting) as volume increases.
Duties
- Perform comprehensive wound assessments, staging, and treatment planning
- Provide weekly wound care management and follow-up visits
- Perform skin substitute (graft) applications (training provided)
- Manage and treat chronic wounds (diabetic, venous, pressure, arterial)
- Work directly with home health agencies, assisted living, and skilled nursing facilities
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation
- Operate independently in a mobile care setting
- Coordinate care and communicate with facility staff and supervising physician as neededRequirements
- Current Nurse Practitioner license with valid certification in wound care or related
Pay: $120,000.00 – $250,000.00 per year
