Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. As a Physician Assistant, you will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care. Your role will involve diagnosing and treating illnesses, conducting physical examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and assisting in surgical procedures.
Duties:- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and review of symptoms- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and infections- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as laboratory tests and imaging studies- Prescribe medications and treatments within the scope of practice- Assist in surgical procedures, including pre-operative evaluations and post-operative care- Provide patient education on disease prevention, treatment options, and healthy lifestyle choices- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
Experience:To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:
– Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program- Current certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C)- Basic life support (BLS) certification- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology- Experience administering injections and performing minor procedures- Familiarity with ICD-10 coding system for accurate documentation and billing- Experience in critical care or emergency medicine is preferred- Knowledge of senior care practices is a plus- Familiarity with durable medical equipment (DME) is beneficial- Understanding of family planning services is desirable

Pay: $103,892.23 – $125,117.53 per year
