About Us:

Dermatology Clinic of Laredo, Oasis Dermatology Group PLLC, is a leading dermatology practice committed to providing exceptional patient care and cutting-edge treatments. Our team of dedicated professionals focuses on delivering personalized services and innovative solutions to address various dermatological concerns.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physician Assistant to join our dermatology practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong interests in dermatology and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care. As a Physician Assistant, you will work closely with our team of dermatologists, dermatology residents, and other PAs to diagnose and treat a wide range of dermatological conditions, perform procedures, and provide patient education. We will be providing structured and graduate level training in dermatology to our physician assistants.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history review and physical examinations.
  • Diagnose and treat various dermatological conditions, such as acne, eczema, psoriasis, and skin cancer.
  • Perform dermatologic procedures, including biopsies, cryotherapy, excisions, and suturing, with precision and accuracy.
  • Prescribe medications, topical treatments, and other therapeutic interventions as needed.
  • Provide patient education on skincare, disease prevention, and treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with dermatologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in dermatology through continuing education and professional development activities.

Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • Current certification as a Physician Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
  • State licensure as a Physician Assistant.
  • Eager and ready to learn; we will be providing didactic and clinical education for all new physician assistants.
  • Strong clinical skills with proficiency in conducting physical examinations and performing dermatologic procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Dedication to providing compassionate patient care and promoting positive patient experiences.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 – $250,000.00 per year
