Supply Chain & Procurement Coordinator

Polymer Chemistry Chocolate Bayou (PCC) is a specialty chemical manufacturer in Alvin, Texas. We are building a disciplined operating system focused on safety, quality, reliability, and continuous improvement. We are looking for a highly organized Supply Chain & Procurement Coordinator to ensure our plants have the right materials, at the right time, from the right suppliers.

Position Summary

The Supply Chain & Procurement Coordinator is responsible for purchasing raw materials and services, managing supplier relationships, coordinating inbound logistics, overseeing industrial waste management, and maintaining accurate procurement records. Success is measured by the reliability of our supply chain, the strength of our supplier partnerships, and the quality of the systems built to support future growth.

Essential Functions Will Include:

· Purchase raw materials, packaging, maintenance items, and plant services.

· Develop supplier relationships while negotiating competitive pricing and reliable delivery.

· Coordinate inbound freight, delivery schedules, and dock appointments.

· Manage industrial waste vendors, scheduling, manifests, and regulatory documentation.

· Maintain accurate purchase orders and procurement records in Acumatica.

· Ensure inventory-controlled materials are purchased using the correct inventory items and company.

· Support supplier qualification and approval processes with Quality.

· Maintain organized, audit-ready purchasing documentation.

· Track supplier performance, pricing trends, lead times, and cost-saving opportunities.

· Develop standard operating procedures for Supply Chain activities.

· Prepare concise reports and presentations on supplier performance and improvement initiatives.

· Work closely with Planning, Operations, Quality, Accounting, and Leadership to identify and resolve supply risks.

Job Requirements

· Exceptional organization and attention to detail.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills.

· Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy.

· Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.

· Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (Acumatica preferred).

· Ability to develop documentation, procedures, and organized filing systems.

· Continuous improvement mindset.

· Comfort presenting information to a management team.

Education & Experience

· 3+ years of purchasing, procurement, supply chain, or operations experience.

· Manufacturing experience strongly preferred.

· Experience with suppliers, freight, and inventory systems.

· Chemical manufacturing experience is a plus.

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
