Full Job Description
Neuro Heart and Vascular Clinic seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with neurology experience to join our team. You’ll evaluate patients with neurologic concerns, coordinate diagnostic workups, and collaborate closely with the supervising neurologist and care team to deliver thoughtful, timely care.
This is a part-time, on-site position. Travel between our Knoxville and Tazewell, TN clinics will be required.
Responsibilities
- Conduct focused neurologic assessments for neurologic symptoms.
- Formulate treatment plans aligned with evidence-based neurology protocols and supervising physician guidance.
- Provide patient education regarding neurologic conditions, diagnostic findings, medications, and follow-up care.
- Collaborate in the development of triage protocols and visit pathways for urgent neurologic presentations. We will NOT be seeing any Code Strokes at this facility, and this is NOT a replacement for the ER.
- Work alongside EEG technologists and infusion RNs to coordinate care across departments.
- Participate in team-based care meetings and occasional community outreach or education efforts.
Qualifications
- Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C)
- Licensed (or license-eligible) to practice in Tennessee
- 1–2 years of neurology, urgent care, or internal medicine experience preferred
- Strong comfort level with neurologic complaints and diagnostic evaluation
- Familiarity with EMRs and clinical documentation workflows
- Team-oriented, adaptable, and eager to grow within a collaborative specialty setting

Pay: $45.00 – $50.00 per hour
