Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring Cardiac Tele and Nephrology experience, with EKG testing required prior to start.
Details
- Inpatient Med/Surg Telemetry unit in a hospital setting
- Patient population includes cardiac telemetry and nephrology med/surg cases
- Patient ratio of 1:7-8
- Floating is required
- Day shift schedule (3×12-hour shifts), 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- Every other weekend or two weekends per month required
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active RN license — TN or Compact license required
- Current certifications: BLS (AHA) and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) required; ACLS preferred
- Prior Cardiac Telemetry experience required
- Prior Nephrology Med/Surg experience required
- Must be able to pass an EKG test prior to the start of assignment
Additional Information
- Orientations are held bi-weekly
- RTO will not be accommodated during any holiday or holiday week, including: Valentine’s Day, Local Spring Break, Easter, Mother’s Day, Memorial Day, Father’s Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Local Fall Break, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Day — travelers may discuss holiday RTO with the manager after arriving onsite
