Mid Level Physician Assistant – Round Rock, Texas
Position Description:
The Mid Level Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant within this position will provide care at a Family Practice Clinic with primary focus on Functional and Integrative medicine. We are opening a brand new location in Dallas, Texas
Principal Responsibilities:
- Ensures effective communications between the medical team and all other clinical and support-service team members.
- Maintains and demonstrates a current working knowledge of procedures and treatments in accordance with organization’s policy and State and/or Federal guidelines.
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments.
- Administer IV Therapy
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ health status and document findings.
- Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment options, and preventive measures.
- Monitor and evaluate patient responses to treatments and interventions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
Qualifications:– Proficient in medication administration, including intravenous therapy.- Strong case management skills to effectively coordinate patient care.- Knowledge of catheter care procedures and ability to catheterize patients if necessary.- Familiarity with laboratory tests and ability to interpret results accurately.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
