Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will work closely with physicians to provide high-quality patient care in outpatient clinic setting in the specialties of Rheumatology and Gastroenterology. This role requires strong clinical skills and a commitment to patient well-being. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including taking vital signs and medical histories.
• Assist in the management of acute care patients, ensuring appropriate treatment plans are followed.
• Utilize coding systems such as ICD-10 for accurate documentation of patient conditions and treatments.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment strategies.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
• Valid state licensure to practice as a Physician Assistant.
• Experience in acute care settings is preferred.
• Knowledge of coding practices, particularly ICD-10.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on patient interaction.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
• A compassionate approach to patient care with an emphasis on empathy and understanding.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $80,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
