Baylor Scott & White, The Heart Hospital is seeking an experienced First Assist Advanced Practice Provider to join the Department of Cardiology specializing in cardiovascular and cardiothoracic surgeries, located in Plano, Texas.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Graduate of an accredited program
- NPs must have: RNFA certifications
- Cardiology and OR experience required
CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION
- Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistant (NCCPA) OR the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board (AANPCB)
- Unrestricted Texas Physician Assistant (PA) OR Nurse Practitioner (NP) CNP license, Registered Nurse (RN), Registered Nurse First Assist (RNFA) certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS): Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire or transfer.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months of hire or transfer.
QUALIFICATIONS
- EDUCATION – Grad of an Accredited Program
- EXPERIENCE – 1 Year of Experience preferred
- CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION –
Physician Assistants (PA) Basic Life Support (BLS): BLS or BLS within 30 days of hire or transfer.
