Location: Houston, TX

Position Type: Part-Time to Full-Time

About Honeycomb Clinic

Honeycomb Clinic is a community-rooted practice in Houston, TX, where compassionate, patient-centered care is our priority. We take a holistic view of your health, supporting your physical, emotional, and spiritual journey towards well-being.

Schedule:

  • Position will be part-time in the beginning while onboarding and training
  • Flexibility in hours to build desired work schedule within operating hours – clinic open 10 AM – 6 PM

Scope:

  • Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care to a mixed patient population (adults, with some pediatric patients), including preventive, acute, and chronic condition management
  • Perform women’s health visits including pap smears and pelvic exams
  • Conduct patient assessments, order and intervpret labs, prescribe medications, and manage treatment plans
  • Manage patient inboxes and electronic health records efficiently when not directly engaged in patient visits.
  • Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in Athena (our EHR)
  • Participate in patient education and wellness initiatives

Qualifications

  • Board certified Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant
  • Active Texas license or ability to obtain
  • Highly Preferred: 1+ year of experience in an urgent care or a primary care setting
  • Open to stellar new graduates with prior experience in a healthcare setting and a demonstrated ability to work autonomously
  • Bilingual skills are a strong plus but not required
  • Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
