Position: Functional Medicine Physician Assistant (Part-Time, transitioning to Full-Time)
Job Type: Part-Time, with transition to Full-Time, In-Office (NOT Remote)
Responsibilities:
As a Functional Medicine Physician Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Physician in delivering comprehensive integrative care to our patients. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting patient visits.
- Reviewing and explaining test results to patients.
- Collaborating with the physician to develop personalized treatment plans.
- Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests.
- Providing patient education on lifestyle modifications, nutrition, and supplements.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Patient communication.
Requirements:
- Certified Physician Assistant with a valid Texas state license.
- Minimum 1 year experience or training in Functional Medicine.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based healthcare environment.
- Ability to self-manage and take ownership of deliverables.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development.
Schedule:
This is a part-time position with flexible hours. The role will transition to a full-time position as the need increases. The schedule will be negotiated to accommodate both the candidate and the practice needs.
