Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physician Assistant to join our medical team.
As a Physician Assistant, you will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care. Your role will involve performing physical examinations, diagnosing and treating illnesses, and assisting in various medical procedures.
Duties:- Conduct thorough physical examinations and medical histories- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as blood work and imaging studies- Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans- Provide medication management- Provide addiction counseling and support
Experience:To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:- Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program- Current certification as a Physician Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)- Experience in psychiatry is preferred- Proficiency in ICD-10 coding for accurate documentation and billing purposes
