We are hiring an Experienced Physician Assistant for a permanent Heart Failure Surgery Role with a very well established Houston Health Care System!
Description:
We are hiring an experienced cardiac surgical clinical (non surgical/OR) role within a major health system in Beautiful Houston, TX!
This is a surgery clinic position with pre/post op surgical visits with some inpatient exposure. No ICU incorporated in this position. Otherwise, it is 4-10’s schedule within Monday – Friday! There are anywhere between 6-15 patients seen in clinic per day. They are pre and post ops.
Large Cardiac Surgical Program consisting of 7 heart surgeons! Robust team, excellent technology, friendly staff and passionate administration!

Responsibilities:
- Conducting patient consultations and physical examinations
- Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests
- Prescribing and managing medications
- Assisting with surgical procedures, including pre-operative and post-operative care.
Schedule
- 4-10’s weekday’s within M-F with light call requirement. (call is very light since we have residents and fellows)
- 8 am to 5 pm Light Call, No weekends!
