About Us: Goodside Health is dedicated to providing in-person urgent care, primary care, telemedicine, and SchoolMed services for children in K-12 schools across Texas. Our mission is to revolutionize pediatric healthcare delivery, ensuring equitable access and quality care for all children.

Job Description: We are seeking dynamic and innovative Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, or Physician Assistants to join our Pediatric Urgent Care team. As a member of our team, you will collaborate with medical directors and site physicians to deliver age-appropriate care under established protocols. Responsibilities include assessment, diagnosis, treatment initiation, and independent decision-making.

Position Status and Hour Requirement:

  • Full-time: 30 patient contact hours per week
  • Part-time: Approximately 20 patient contact hours per week
  • PRN (As Needed Basis): Minimum four days availability per month

All roles necessitate availability for holidays, evening shifts, and weekends, along with a readiness to travel within your designated region to various clinics (refer to regions listed below).

Certain clinics offer pediatric primary care services in the mornings, allowing providers the option to work either a morning primary care shift or combine it with afternoon/evening urgent care duties.

Current Region Openings:

  • Houston (North, South, East, West): Full-time, part-time, PRN
  • Austin: Full-time
  • DFW East: Full-time
  • DFW West: Full-time

  • Urgent care experience preferred
  • Proficiency in medical Spanish is advantageous
  • Minimum two years of pediatric care experience, with at least one year in pediatric urgent care/emergency settings
  • Active and unrestricted TX license, in good standing with respective board (physicians must have an active DEA certificate)
  • Knowledge and experience in pediatric urgent care procedures (e.g., laceration repair, fracture management)
  • Familiarity with HIPAA, OSHA, and CLIA guidelines
  • BLS certification (required) and PALS certification (may be obtained within 60 days of employment)
  • Up-to-date documentation of Hepatitis B and Tetanus vaccinations
