Summary
The Department of Family and Community Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine (Family and Community Medicine-BCM) is seeking a Family Medicine faculty member to join our team, which is committed to providing care to diverse populations in the Greater Houston and Harris County area. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity, if desired, to participate in academic activities which support medical student education and research. This position will provide direct patient care services at the Baylor Family Medicine (River Oaks Private Clinic). In this facility, our providers offer primary care as well as specialized care such as medical weight management, nutritional services, behavioral health, and geriatric medicine.
Job Duties
Duties include direct patient care and, if desired, educating medical students and participating in clinical research. For FCM faculty, it is essential to support evidence-based medicine with an emphasis on outcome-based analysis, which can be acquired throughout this facility.

Minimum Qualifications
- Education Required: M.D. or D.O.
- Experience: Residency training in Family Medicine. No prior practice experience is required.
- Certification/Licenses/Registration Required: License from the Texas Medical Board is required to practice medicine in the state of Texas. Board Certification in Family Medicine. Baylor allows a grace period of four years from residency graduation date to pass the boards.
