Full Job Description

Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive medical care to patients under the supervision of a physician- Conduct physical examinations and obtain medical histories- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging studies- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and infections- Prescribe medications and other treatments- Educate patients on preventive healthcare measures and promote healthy lifestyle choices- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care

Requirements:- Valid Physician Assistant license in the state of practice- Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies or a related field

– ACLS and PALS certified- Previous experience working as a Physician Assistant is preferred but not required- Strong knowledge of medical procedures, terminology, and coding systems (ICD-10)- Proficient in conducting physical examinations and diagnosing medical conditions- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members- Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions- Familiarity with electronic health record systems for documentation purposes

Skills:- Proficient in performing, phlebotomy, IV placement for infusion, and other invasive procedures

– Proficient in managing an emergency ( ex. arrest, allergic reaction, seizures, etc.)- Experience working with pediatric and adult patients and providing age-appropriate care- Knowledge of aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment during procedures- Ability to administer medications via various routes (oral, intravenous, inhalation)- Familiarity with coding systems for accurate billing and reimbursement purposes- Health coaching skills to educate patients on managing chronic conditions and promoting wellness

Pay: $108,875.00 – $115,140.00 per year
