Looking to hire FT PA for our Harlingen clinic. We only see Men and Women ages 12 and up, Private insurance and cash based only. No Medicare or Medicaid patients. By appointment only, but accommodate Walk ins as needed by giving them an appointment that same day if needed. Daily patient load varies from 15-25. No nights, No On-call, Majority of the time No Major Holidays. Cover at least 1 Saturday a month. Saturdays work load is hopefully 10-15 patients for the provider to see.
Need a mature, hard working, independent, team player. We are here to work, see patients so we can pay the bills, but at the same time not to overload your schedule like other clinics where you are expected to see 5-6 per hour and 40 plus on busy days. We want to take our time and find out the problem to the chief complaint and not just manage symptoms. We sit and listen and develop a plan Vs here’s your script and we’ll see you in 3-4 months.
You’ll be trained for about a month to learn our protocols and how we approach Menopause, Low Testosterone, Vitamin Therapy, Peptide Therapy along with Primary Care.
This clinic was designed to avoid Provider Burn Out, Focus on Quality of Care Vs Assembly Line Care. As a provider myself, I got tired of busy, high volume clinics where you were forced to just see high volume and deal with Drug Seekers, complicated cases, Rude, Upset patients, etc,. I forgot what it meant to Practice Medicine, so when this opportunity presented itself, I wanted it to be Positive for both Staff and the Patients.
If you are a Provider looking to work in a Calm, Relaxed work place and avoid Burn Out, then this is where you want to Enjoy Practicing Medicine. Keep in mind, we still have to work hard when we have too, but Not to Burn you out.
