About UsOur busy neurosurgery practice is seeking a high-energy, self-motivated Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our team. This role is vital in supporting clinic operations and actively facilitating patients’ recovery.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient evaluations, interpret medical imaging, and develop treatment plans
- Prescribe medications and complete all charting/documentation
- Prepare patients for surgery and serve as first assist during procedures
- Write post-operative orders and manage follow-up care
- Return patient phone calls and provide ongoing support
- Round in hospitals, including occasional weekends
- Perform peer-to-peer communications when needed
- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
- First assist surgical experience preferred
- Familiarity with EclinicalWorks or other medical charting platforms
- Knowledge of health insurance processes and medical coding
- Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies, Health Science, Medical Science, or Nurse Practitioner program

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00 – $125,000.00 per year
