Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care under the supervision of a licensed physician.
Responsibilities:
- Obtains detailed history and performs physical examinations on assigned patients; assesses and treats acute/chronic medical problems and provides direct patient care
- Practices safety, environmental, and/or infection control methods
- Writes progress notes on patients’ charts indicating patient status and treatment procedures performed; maintains other records as required
- Supervises and/ or coordinates the activities of patient care and support staff within the clinic
- Provides health education to patients and families
- Enhances professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, current literature, in-service meetings, and workshops
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- Ability to supervise and train staff including organizing, prioritizing and scheduling work assignments
- Ability to perform medical examinations using standard medical procedures
- Knowledge of primary care principles and practices
- Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards
- Knowledge of clinical operations and procedures
- Knowledge of drugs, and their indications, contraindications, dosing, side effects and proper administration
- Ability to observe, assesses, and record symptoms, reactions, and progress
- Knowlege of current and emerging trends in technologies, techniques, issues, and approaches in area of expertise
- Ability to make administrative and procedural decisions

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $64.29 – $68.57 per hour
Expected hours: 8 per week

- EMR systems: 5 years (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Certified Nurse Practitioner (Preferred)
