Orthopedic Physician Assistant

Location: Cypress, TXSpecialty: Orthopedic Surgery – Joints & SpineSetting: Outpatient (with surgical assistance)Job Type: Full-TimeSalary: $110,000–$140,000+ annually (based on experience) + incentives

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Orthopedic Physician Assistant to join our growing outpatient practice specializing in joints and spine. The PA will work closely with orthopedic surgeons in both clinic and surgical settings, providing advanced patient care, diagnostics, and treatment planning for patients ranging from adolescents to geriatrics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform patient evaluations, examinations, diagnoses, and follow-up care
  • Obtain medical histories and document all clinical encounters accurately
  • Order, review, and interpret diagnostic tests
  • Develop and document treatment plans, including prescribing medications
  • Assist surgeons in joint and spine procedures as needed
  • Provide patient and family education on conditions, care plans, and recovery
  • Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and care teams to coordinate care
  • Maintain complete, accurate clinical records and patient documentation
  • Support patient care in accordance with orthopedic standards and best practices

Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies
  • Active Texas PA license and DEA
  • 1–2 years of orthopedic experience required (joints & spine preferred)
  • Strong communication, clinical judgment, and surgical-assist skills
  • Not accepting new graduates

Schedule & Work Environment

  • Monday–Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM, aligned with surgery schedules
  • Outpatient clinic + surgical assisting
  • No weekends or on-call requirements
  • Patient population: ages 10–99

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $110,000.00 – $140,000.00 per year
