Contract position for 6 months and then can extend or direct hire

Starts available for 9/1 & 10/1

40 hours weekly – Monday thru Friday – 8:00am – 5:00pm

Pay: $80 Blended/Hr

We’re looking for a Physician Assistant to join our team at a newly opened clinic. This is a customer service position requiring exceptional medical knowledge and customer service skills, and candidates must have experience with HIPAA regulations. Certified as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. Must hold all required licenses and certification to practice in Texas state.

Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, conducting assessments, and developing treatment plans. This role requires a strong background in various medical fields, including senior care, infectious disease care, and occupational health. The Nurse Practitioner will work closely with patients to promote health and wellness through effective health coaching and patient education.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive health assessments and physical examinations of patients.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
  • Administer medications and monitor patient responses to treatments.
  • Provide health coaching to patients, focusing on lifestyle changes and preventive care.
  • Manage care for patients with chronic conditions, including cardiac catheterization and infectious diseases.
  • Educate patients about family planning options and occupational health concerns.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care effectively.
  • Document all patient interactions accurately in medical records.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
  • Current Nurse Practitioner certification and state licensure.
  • Strong clinical skills in areas such as senior care, medication administration, and patient care.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to ventilate complex medical information clearly to patients and their families.
  • Experience in health coaching or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • A passion for providing high-quality care to diverse populations.
