Full Job Description

Carlow University’s College of Health and Wellness is seeking a full-time 12-month faculty to join our faculty at the Oakland campus located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
We seek a full-time faculty member to serve as Principal Faculty with expertise in physician assistant practice specific to the learning needs of our graduate Physician Assistant program students. Candidates should have expertise in instruction of physician assistant students and have leadership experience.
Academic rank, track, and salary are commensurate with educational preparation and experience.
Required Experience/Qualifications for Physician Assistant Candidates:
  • Valid Pennsylvania Physician Assistant License and current NCCPA certification
  • A minimum of a master’s degree in physician assistant (MPAS); a doctoral degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of full-time experience as PA.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience teaching either as an appointed faculty member in a PA Program or as a clinical instructor/ preceptor for students of such programs is recommended.
