Tulsa Bone and Joint is looking for a Full-time Physicians Assistant to work in our Urgent Care and assisting at Union Pines Surgery Center.
The Orthopedic Service Line (PA) will be working at the TBJA Urgent Care locations and assisting in surgery at our ambulatory surgery center Union Pines.
Primary Focus at the Urgent Care: You will be providing primary care with a focus on orthopedics with physician supervision. The PA will exercise autonomy in medical decision-making and provides a broad range of diagnostic and therapeutic services. You will work closely with orthopedic physicians, seeing regular orthopedics conditions, managing their injuries and referring to orthopedic subspecialties with the practice, and be responsible for the management of presenting primary care conditions.
At Union Pine Surgery Center: The PA will be assisting our orthopedic surgeons in the operating room, along with assessing patients, writing orders, educating/teaching, performing consults and discharging orthopedic patients.
The schedule will include:
Monday – Friday = 0630-1900 (Dates and Times varies) = Split Shifts between UC/Surgery Center.
Up to one weekend per month of call/rounding or coverage at the UC maybe required, in addition to coverage at other hospital health systems may be required to support the service line.
Requirements Needed to Apply:
· Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies (PA).
· Current and unrestricted PA license for Oklahoma.
· Must have experience in Urgent Care setting or in Orthopedics
· Experience or interest in Orthopedic Surgery (preferred but not required)
· Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00 – $120,000.00 per year
