Duties

• Diagnose and repair various household appliances including refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, and HVAC systems using schematics and technical guides.
• Perform mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration repairs with precision and attention to detail.
• Assemble appliances and install new units at customer locations, ensuring proper setup and safety standards are met.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks to prevent future breakdowns and extend appliance lifespan.
• Utilize a box truck or similar vehicle to transport parts, tools, and appliances safely to job sites.
• Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly, answering questions, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Maintain detailed service records, work orders, and reports for each job completed.

Experience

• Proven experience as a service technician specializing in appliance repair or related field service roles.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical diagrams accurately.
• Electrical experience with troubleshooting wiring issues and electrical components in appliances.
• Familiarity with refrigeration systems, HVAC units, or equipment repair is highly desirable.
• Delivery driver experience is a plus for managing transportation of parts and equipment efficiently.
• Customer service skills that foster positive interactions with clients while addressing their appliance concerns.
