Are you a Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and loves building meaningful relationships with patients? We’re looking for a motivated PA to deliver high-quality primary care while working side-by-side with experienced physicians and clinicians who value collaboration, respect, and patient-centered care.
What Your Days Will Look Like
No two days are exactly the same—but each one is meaningful. You will:
- Conduct thorough patient histories and physical exams
- Order and interpret lab work and diagnostic tests
- Collaborate with physicians and specialists on patient care plans
- Diagnose conditions and develop treatment plans
- Prescribe medications and administer injections in accordance with guidelines and state law
- Treat minor injuries, including lacerations
- Educate patients and families on medications, wellness, and prevention
- Coordinate care and recommend community resources
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EHR
- Participate in peer review, chart review, quality improvement, and continuing education
- Provide continuity of care by triaging patient calls and messages between visits
- Advocate for patients and support long-term health outcomes.
✅ What You Bring to the Team
- Active Physician Assistant license
- Bachelor’s degree and graduation from an ARC-PA accredited program
- Current NCCPA certification
- Active NC Medical Board license
- Current BLS certification
- Preferred (But Not Required)
- Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies (MSPAS)
- Current ACLS certification

Physical Requirements
- Standing and walking approximately 90% of the day
- Periods of sitting, bending, and reaching
- Occasional lifting up to 10 pounds
- Fine motor skills
- Corrected vision and hearing within normal range
- Potential for occasional irregular work hours
