Join a dynamic pediatric practice dedicated to delivering exceptional primary care to children and adolescents. We are seeking a passionate and skilled BC/BE (Board Certified/Board Eligible) Physician or Nurse Practitioner specializing in pediatrics to become an integral part of our team. Duties
- Conduct thorough medical assessments, physical examinations, and vital signs evaluations for pediatric patients across various age groups, including infants, toddlers, school-aged children, and adolescents.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate preventive care, acute illness management, chronic disease monitoring, and developmental assessments.
- Utilize EHR system Office Practicum to document patient encounters accurately, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards.
- Perform procedures including suturing, phlebotomy, and basic life support interventions as needed in outpatient or inpatient settings.
- Coordinate care with specialists
- Engage in patient education on nutrition, immunizations, family planning, developmental milestones, and health coaching to promote overall well-being.
Qualifications
- Current medical license with certification or eligibility in pediatrics (MD or DO) or certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP).
- Demonstrated experience working with children across diverse healthcare settings.
- Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as Office Practicum; familiarity with CPT coding, ICD-10 coding standards.
- Knowledge of pediatric physiology, anatomy, pharmacology including psychopharmacology for behavioral health management.
- Strong clinical skills in physical examinations, diagnostic evaluation, and patient assessment techniques.
- Excellent communication skills for effective patient care coordination.
Pay: $80,000.00 – $200,000.00 per year
