Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public health and experience in a Level II Trauma Center. This role involves providing high-quality medical care, conducting diagnostic evaluations, and collaborating with physicians to develop treatment plans. The Physician Assistant will also engage in telehealth services, ensuring patients receive comprehensive care regardless of their location.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including taking vital signs and performing diagnostic evaluations.
  • Assist in airway management and perform procedures such as spinal taps when necessary.
  • Collaborate with physicians to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Utilize the Epic system for patient documentation and coding.
  • Provide education to patients regarding their health conditions and treatment options.
  • Participate in telehealth consultations to enhance patient access to care.
  • Maintain compliance with safety protocols and best practices in a clinical setting.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
  • Experience in public health or emergency medicine preferred.
  • Proficiency in basic life support (BLS) techniques.
  • Familiarity with telehealth platforms and electronic health records (EHR), particularly Epic.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Pay: $139,106.00 – $147,766.00 per year
