Full Job Description

Overview:G&S Medical Associates is seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our team. The Nurse Practitioner will play a crucial role in providing high-quality healthcare services to our patients. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative healthcare environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive health assessments and physical examinations on patients.
  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and conditions.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
  • Prescribe medications and other treatment modalities as appropriate.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as laboratory tests and imaging studies.
  • Provide patient education and counseling on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
  • Stay current with advances in medical knowledge and best practices through continuing education and professional development activities.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
  • Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner and unrestricted licensure to practice in the state.
  • Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and other medical software applications.
  • Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
  • Willingness to adhere to professional standards and ethical principles.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $140,000.00 – $160,000.00 per year
